Program Overview 

This program empowers managers to gain the professional level understandings of Universal Wellbeing. They will also develop the capacity to enhance the wellbeing of their staff in order to improve engagement, productivity, profit levels and staff wellbeing in their workplace.

Program Aim
 

To develop professional Universal Wellbeing, communication skills, planning, systems, evaluation, and resourcing capabilities along with the capacity to effectively manage staff using evidence-based strategies and approaches that measurably improve productivity, motivation, engagement, Universal Wellbeing and equity levels.

Program Outcome

Graduates will be equipped to implement wellbeing-informed professional management practices that support staff wellbeing, retention, engagement, growth and contribution to increase organizational productivity and success.

What You’ll Learn

    Module 1: Universal Wellbeing Model (CUW)

    Facilitated Hours: 30 hours

    Homework Time Estimate: 30 to 40 hours

    Participants will gain a deep understanding of the UWM and learn how to apply it in diverse educational settings.

    Module 2: Wellbeing Supporting Communication Skills (CUWM 1)

    ·        Facilitated Hours: 12 hours

    ·        Homework Time Estimate: 12 to 24 hours

    Participants will develop effective communication techniques grounded in the Universal Wellbeing Model, designed to support meaningful and safe interactions across diverse learning and organisational environments.

    Module 3: Managing Planning, Systems & Resources (CUWM 2)

    Facilitated Hours: 12 hours

    Participants will learn how to design and manage wellbeing-focused planning processes, systems, and resource allocation to support sustainable and equitable outcomes within their teams or educational environments.

    Module 4: Inspiring Staff Engagement & Productivity (CUWM 3)

    Facilitated Hours: 12 hours
    Homework Time Estimate: 12 to 24 hours

    Participants will explore strategies to inspire and sustain staff engagement, motivation, and productivity using Universal Wellbeing principles, with a focus on fostering inclusive and high-performing environments.

Entry Criteria

Entry to this program is open to individuals interested in enhancing staff Universal Wellbeing. Applicants should ideally be engaged in managing a department or team in a workplace setting. All applicants must complete an enrolment form and may be interviewed before their place is confirmed in the program.

Participants must have access to a group, team or department with whom they can apply program content throughout the course duration.

Annual Program Start Dates 

Program start dates: February, April, July or October each year, or as arranged.

Total Program Duration: 120 hours
